Introduction:

The aim of a Field line Manager is to manage a team of Installation technicians as per Citi Protection’s guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12.
  • A relevant Technical Diploma backed by IT networking, hardware and software skills.
  • A Project Management qualification would be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years technical experience, inclusive of Intruder, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Security Installations.
  • Good technical knowledge and experience in Intruder, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Security Installations.
  • Experience in Job Costing and Project Management would be advantageous.
  • Sound demonstration of Health and Safety compliance, to include site specific requirements, will be advantageous.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Technical Leadership Skills essential.
  • Fleet management experience advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
  • PSIRA Registered.

Job Specification:

Although not limited to, your main responsibilities will be:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Signing off and controlling of technical invoices.
  • Controlling and maintaining a low amount of outstanding jobs.
  • Assist Coordinator in scheduling for Technicians.
  • Manage to maintain an acceptable Installation delay.
  • Dealing with Customer complaints.
  • Driving for productivity.
  • Driving for quality.
  • Driving to reach monthly set out target.
  • Driving down cost.
  • Drive Field Force Transformation in doing so achieving the above.
  • To Project Manage large installations.
  • Attend handovers and sign-offs on larger jobs exceeding a certain value.
  • Provide updated reports and planning on larger jobs.
  • Provide training and support on new approved products.
  • Attend contractors and Site meetings (not specifically limited to Technical)
  • Assistance with any problems or complaints.
  • Give full feedback to clients where necessary.
  • Leading and coaching the technical team.
